About the Trainer: Reshaunda Thornton MS, RD, LD, CSSD

Reshaunda Thornton, the owner of BetterVessel Nutrition, is a mother, entrepreneur, wellness/sports dietitian, speaker, author, and podcast host who uses her expertise in nutrition to empower and educate.  Her work involves consultation to individuals & groups, media platforms, and educational speaking engagements.

Reshaunda challenges the idea that food a just way to change the physical body.  She wants people to recognize the adversarial relationship they have with what they eat and to empower them to change it. She does this by revealing what really drives our choices and how they are a mirror image of how we see ourselves. With an unconventional approach to nutrition, she teaches how to balance life, how to build self-importance, and how to re-establish the relationship with food.  Her goal is to create a self-care evolution – Helping people to evolve from past practices of fad failures and chasing diets to a liberating way of living and connecting with food. Her mixture of passion and expertise has allowed her to change lives in an impactful way as she brings energy and creativity every time.

Texas native and fitness enthusiast, Reshaunda Thornton has received two Bachelors of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University in Biology, minor in Psychology, Kansas State University in Nutrition & Dietetics, Master’s in Human Nutrition from Logan University.
